New Shane and Shane material
So, you could say that I'm a fan of these guys and that might be a gross understatement. Honestly, these guys are great and their music speaks over and over to just how good our Father is. They've been posting some peaks into some practice sessions. This is definitely worth a listen......Enjoy!

Joy
Six months ago today, Norah Rose Walton burst into the world. This little girl has brought Carmen and I joy that we can't begin to describe. She's opened our eyes to a whole other dimension of our heavenly Father. We are so excited to know her and watch her grow - to see who she is and who she is becoming. We can only imagine the story unfolding, but every page is amazing! What a privilege, what a blessing. Thank you, Father, for revealing a new dimension of your love. Help us to love her with the same deep, wise, grace-filled love. We love you Norah!

Calling all good people.........
I get a regular feed of articles from RZIM, Ravi Zacharias International ministries. Today's article dealt with some very real and valid questions regarding the nature of goodness and salvation:
Why can't I just be a good person? Isn't it unfair of God to say that you can't get into heaven unless you believe in Him, even though you have been a good person?
The article's author, Michael Ramsden, does a great job unpacking the idea that salvation is in fact not at all a measure of our goodness. The one work of God that we are called to is to "believe in the one he has sent". Strangely, that may be the most strenuous of works in our post-modern world. Even so, achieving it is not a measure of greatness, but a measure of humility. Are we willing to accept that we are imperfect-able? that we need to be made new....and that we can be?
